Howth, with expired film

Though it has been a while since I’ve been spellbound by the funky colours and effects expired films can produce, it’s only recently that I’ve embraced shooting them.

Having told you already about my recent temperamental camera issues, there is nothing left for me to do but to show you the photos I took last week in Howth with the first of a bunch of expired films I recently bought.

Though I didn’t use a film expired over two/three decades (… every time on the web I come upon photographers who are using so old films I like imagining stories on how they put their hands on them…) I’m quite pleased with the coloring I got so now I can’t wait to have the one I used earlier this week developed!

Have a nice weekend, amici miei, and don’t forget that Sunday April 29 is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day!
