Well, no one was punting in the green stream you see below but, I can assure you, rowers and boathouses were not far away.

It might be of some interest to know that the meadow where I took this photo is Christ Church Meadow and that Christ Church College, that you can see on the background, was used by Lewis Carroll as the setting for his Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
