I took these photos somewhere not far from Killary Fjord - Ireland’s only Fjord that separates counties Galway and Mayo. What on earth was I doing there? I was there the last week in June hiking and pretending to be a naturalist photographer. Or was it the other way around?

After taking a photo of the waterfall…

I spotted the cottage up on the hill. Wouldn’t it be nice to spend some time up there?

Apologies to those who were expecting to see some photos of the fjord here. Though it’s a very scenic place and I had three cameras with me, I didn’t take any photo of it. Please, don’t ask me why…

About the camera and the film I used… taking into consideration that it was a sunny and bright day (yes, we have days like that here in Ireland too) and I used a ISO 400 film, images are still pretty dark, aren’t they? Unfortunately, as I said before, the build-in light meter is broken so I have to use my own judgement but next time I will definitely test the camera on less green subjects!
