le [extra] cool experience

Happy Monday amici miei,  how are you doing? Did you have a good weekend?

On Saturday morning I joined Le Cool Experience, an extra cool Dublin’s walking tour. Michael (the guy who’s leading the group in the first photo below) and Irene (the girl with the fashionable vintage sunglasses in the photo immediately after) were our tour guides.

For those of you who haven’t heard about this experience yet, I’ll just say that it’s a different, not touristy tour that introduces you to new venues and events in Dublin. Our two-hour tour (each tour is unique) included a visit to Monto, one of the best vintage shops in town

and to the Little Green Street Gallery, a gallery/studio space now hosting the Draw TINTIN Exhibition.

After a very interesting conversation with Garrett (one of the owner of Brother Hubbard, a new cafe in Capel Street) we tasted some of their scrumptious home-baked cakes and scones.

We also called in the Dublin Fringe headquarters, above Eden restaurant in Temple Bar (the view over the Food Market was very nice) to talk about the Pro-Social Rule Breaking Club.

So this was my Saturday afternoon. What about you? Did you do something nice?
