On my last day in Munich I visited the Deutsches Museum, which is located on a little island in the Isar River. Leaving a little bit earlier than the friends I was with, I meandered on my own with my camera in order to absorb the surroundings. I didn’t go far as I just crossed the bridges that link the island to the banks of the river, but I did manage to capture some winter afternoon light.
The next two photos, on the other hand, were taken earlier in the day from the museum’s second floor terrace. I particularly like the last one because I think the Kodak Portra 160’s icy tones perfect for the nippy atmosphere of the winter scene.
Photos from the museum are coming soon.
